Health - Cn John:

Thank you for all the kind wishes and prayers following Cn John’s recent accident. Following X-rays, scans and an appointment with the consultant at QA it has been discovered that he has, as assumed, seriously damaged several ligaments in his right leg and has some detached bone from his knee too. Although he could have opted for surgery, he was advised to go for less risky but intensive physio as he is starting to regain movement. There will be a long (at least 12 weeks) recovery period to come. As he needs to rest his leg a lot, and is in such discomfort, Bishop Philip has appointed a priest to assist Fareham Parish until September.

Welcome - Fr Benedikt

Fr Benedikt Timpo moved into the presbytery this week and he will celebrate all the Masses this weekend, so please make him welcome as he settles in. Fr Benedikt will be with us until September. Going forward, Cn John will be able to celebrate some Masses and carry out some of the parish duties. He won’t be able to stand for all four of the weekend Masses and he is not allowed to drive either at the moment. Please bear with us during this time. 

As Fr Benedikt has moved in already, he will celebrate Mass tomorrow Friday 16th May at 10am in Sacred Heart Church. All welcome!
