Children are very much part of the life of our parish and play a role in our services (especially as altar servers. We offer opportunities for young people to participate in several uniformed groups (cubs, scouts etc
contact us for details) which are affiliated to the church; to take part in a variety of organised groups, both local and diocesan; and to join Preparation programmes for First Holy Communion and Confirmation. The Confirmation programme is for teens from Year 8 and also operates as a “youth group” where its members enjoy, in their words, “Faith, Fun & Food”; most remain with the group after being confirmed.
